- SAT Prep Class at BCHS: Registration is open: BCHS will be hosting a SAT Prep Class on 6 consecutive Wednesdays in 2025, from 6-8 p.m., starting January 29 and ending March 5. This class, taught by BCHS teachers. Registration is now open.
- Jan. 10 Seminar Activities: Signup is required - first come, first served:
- Dodgeball (Main Gym): 40 spots available! Get your friends to sign up with you! No need to make a full team: we will figure out numbers and teams on the fly. Sign up here!
- Math SAT Prep (Room 212): 20 spots available! Are you a junior looking to get a little bit more practice with Math SAT questions? Ms. Large is offering a few sessions of SAT prep this semester for any juniors interested. For more information, email Ms. Large (alarge@bishopchatard.org). Sign up for the first prep session here!
- Indiana Youth Rally for Life: Jan. 22: Signup by Jan. 19 to attend this rally and mass at the Indiana Convention Center, beginning at 8:30 am
- FAFSA Filing Help Night for seniors and their families is Jan. 8 (Thurs): Be sure to setup your FSA ID at least a week before this session. All seniors and families are encouraged to attend this help session conducted by INvestEd on the FAFSA Federal Student Aid application.
- Service Academy Day Webinar: Jan. 16 (Thurs): This webinar from 5:30 - 6:30 pm via Zoom will present the admissions process and experience of military service academy life. Registration is required. A Zoom link will be sent out one hour prior to the start of the event.
- 21st Century Scholars Info Night: Jan. 22 (Wed): Students and parents of students enrolled in the 21st Century Scholar program are invited to our 21st Century Scholar info night on Wed, Jan. 22, 2025, from 6-7:30 pm in Room 102. Learn more learn about the benefits of the program and have your questions answered by representatives from the state who run the program. Read more here

- Brooke Nicole Lahr Scholarship for International Missions Work: This scholarship, established through the Indianapolis Archdiocese, supports young adults on their first mission trip outside the U.S. Funded by friends and family in memory of Brooke Nichole Lahr, a St. Gabriel Church parishioner, it honors her legacy by helping others continue her work. Application is due Jan. 20.

Area 1 Opportunities: Service to BCHS, Parish or Faith Community
- Mass Set-up Help: Jan. 9 (Thurs) Help set up for Mass! Join us on Thursday morning to set up for Mass in the main gym at 7:15! We are offering one half hour of service for each week you are able to make it.
- Trojan Tots Service: After school each day: see Ms. Katra in guidance for more information! Sign Up Here
- Tutoring - Peer Tutor Club: If you are in National Honors Society/Spanish National Honors Society/SUMMA, if you need service hours, or if you just want to help your fellow classmates, then you can join the Peer Tutor Club! Fill out the survey and someone from Guidance will contact you when someone is looking for a tutor. Email Ms. Katra (skatra@bishopchatard.org) for more details.

- Free SAT, AP, and Math Tutoring via Schoolhouse.world for grades 8-12. Free tutoring for SATs, math courses, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Live small-group tutoring via Zoom will focus on SAT reading, writing, and math as well as AP course tutoring in calculus, statistics, chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science.
