Everyone is always welcome to join in prayer during these times:
  • March 17 (Tues): All School Mass with the Archbishop. First thing in the morning. Students will report to 6th period before being dismissed to the Main Gym.

Spare time? Borrow a book from the new Trojan Stacks -- currently located in the Student Life Center and Room 302, with more to come. Grab a book and keep it for as long as you need. Return to any Trojan Stack when you're finished. No sign outs or need to ask. What is Trojan Stacks?
  • FLEX Schedule: March 16: Following Period 2, Freshmen and Sophomores will report to their Flex rooms first. Juniors and Seniors will report directly to their Career Day presentation rooms.

  • Climbing Club Callout: March 16: After school in Room 319. If you're interested in rock climbing/bouldering, show up and give input as we figure out what this club will look like! See Mr. Wessel for more info.
  • School Uniforms on March 17: Correction: Underclassmen must wear their school uniforms on St. Patrick's Day. It is dress-up day for Seniors. Senior Dress code details (No 'Wearing of the Green' due to the Archbishop's visit.)
  • CSI Chicago Callout - March 17: 3:30 pm in the Cafeteria. Looking for a great way to put your faith into action this summer? Sign up for CSI:Chicago! Spend the week of June 22-25 (Monday-Thursday) learning about issues of justice, practicing community living, and processing experiences through daily prayer and guided meditation. Sign up here.
  • Dad's Day Breakfast - March 17: Archbishop Thompson will be the speaker. Don't forget to remind your Dad (and/or mom, grandparent, etc.). Info & RSVP
  • Early dismissal on Thurs., March 19 (2:15 pm). Spring break starts!

Christian Service Opportunities

Area 1 Opportunities: Service to BCHS, Parish or Faith Community

  • Peer Tutor Club: If you are in National Honors Society/Spanish National Honors Society/SUMMA, need service hours, or just want to help your fellow classmates, then you can join the Peer Tutor Club! Fill out the survey! Someone from Guidance will be in touch with you when someone is looking for a tutor. Sign up here
  • BCHS Mass Setup (each week): BCHS Campus Ministry could use help setting up for Mass each week. Meet in the main gym during Silas to help out and earn an Area 1 Service Hour!
  • Christ the King Babysitting - April 17: Christ the King is looking for students interested in babysitting in Tuohy Hall on April 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. as part of their Families of Young Children Date Night. Sign up here!
  • St. Matthew's Church Opportunities: St. Matthew's could use your help. Contact Mrs. Pam Fleming (pfleming@saintmatt.org) if you are interested!
    • Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 9:30 am Mass
    • Shepherd's FLOCK, a program designed to help adults with developmental disabilities grow in their spiritual life. The group meets monthly on a rotating basis from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
  • IHM Sunday School Help: Immaculate Heart is looking for students to assist with their Sunday Family Faith (Sunday school) program. They meet on Sundays from 10:30-11:45. Contact Ms. Blandford (kblandford@ihmindy.org) for more info or to sign up!

  • Free SAT, AP, and Math Tutoring via Schoolhouse.world for grades 8-12. Free tutoring for SATs, math courses, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Live small-group tutoring via Zoom will focus on SAT reading, writing, and math as well as AP course tutoring in calculus, statistics, chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science.
