Boys Soccer: 2024 season is most successful on record

Bishop Chatard Boys Soccer Program had their most successful season in school history this year. The team notched a school record 17 wins, their 1st conference championship, 1st City finals appearance since 2006, 2nd Sectional Championship, 1st Regional Championship, and first Semi-State appearance.

Post Season Tournament
In Class 2A Sectionals, the #4 ranked team defeated Washington 4-0 and Cardinal Ritter 0-0 (4-2 in PKs) on their path to the championship game vs Purdue Poly, which they won 10 -1.

In regionals, they defeated Connersville, 3-0, and then defeated Cascade 2-0, for the Regional Championship.

In Semi-State, BCHS fell to eventual State Champion Evansville Memorial 2-0.

  • ISCA Second Team All District: Tommy O’Gara
  • All Circle City Conference Team: Tommy O’Gara, Bryan Rodriguez, and Vikas Walling
  • All City Team: Cash Moore, Tommy O’Gara, and Vikas Walling
  • Indy Star ALL-USA Central Indiana Super Team
    • 2nd Team: Tommy O’Gara and Vikas Walling
    • 3rd Team: Cash Moore
    • Honorable Mention: Marcus Monachino, Alex Paz, John Reynolds, Bryan Rodriguez
