Engage in Bishop Chatard

A well-rounded high school experience goes beyond the classroom. Student life at Bishop Chatard provides many opportunities for students to try something new as well as grow in individual talents and areas of interest.

Students at Bishop Chatard are encouraged to step outside their comfort zone and find the spark that ignites their passion. Dynamic choir, band and theatre programs, art opportunities, and 35 diverse clubs covering an array of interests including student government, robotics (or, as the Trojans call it, Trobotics), investment strategies and service opportunities are offered.

89 percent of Bishop Chatard students participate in clubs and other extracurriculars. As they engage in Student Life, they make connections that enhance their high school experience, lay the groundwork for their college experience, and create friendships they’ll have for a lifetime.

The Mission of BCHS Fine Arts

The vision of the Fine Arts Department is to illuminate the mission of Bishop Chatard High School by continually seeking Truth, Beauty, and Goodness through education, performance, arts, design, and exhibit. Creating Art and Music allows our students to mirror the truth of God’s creation of the universe. God has bestowed talents that we help foster and encourage our students to use in a way that glorifies the whole person.
