Our school follows a rotating seven-period schedule, with each class lasting 60 minutes. This rotation ensures students attend each class at different times of the day.
From Tuesday to Friday, teachers are available in their classrooms for individual student support from 7:20 to 7:50 am. Daily seminar periods (11:05–11:35 am) provide time for various activities as follows:
- Seminar A: Mass or career/college speakers
- Seminar B: Academic work
- Seminar C: Club meetings

- Bishop Chatard is open to students by 7:00 a.m. each day.
- Tuesday-Friday the first bell rings at 7:45; class begins at 7:50 a.m.
- Monday the first bell rings at 8:50; class begins at 8:55 a.m.
- Breakfast is served in the cafeteria 30 minutes before the first bell
- Monday-Thursday school ends at 3:15 p.m. On Friday school is dismissed at 2:10 p.m.
- Before School Starts: Tuesday through Friday (not Monday) from 7:20-7:50 a.m. All teachers are in their classrooms and available to help students.
- BCHS provides supervision of students in the library until 4:30 p.m. each day. A licensed teacher is available in the library for academic support.
- Students are not allowed in the hallways or gymnasiums, M-Th after 3:30 p.m. and on Friday after 2:30 p.m.
