
Congratulations to the BCHS Trobotics teams on a great season! Two novice teams from the school won the tournament at Purdue Polytechnic HS, going undefeated with a thrilling finals win! View other accomplishments below.
- Team 5690X – Molly Faris, Oliver Lam, Sean O’Gara, Kate Lowry, and Graydon Pivec: best driver skills run of the season at the last competition at Zionsville HS.
- 5690Y and 5690Z Teams: Carter Engler, Roberto Soto-Aguilar, and Gigi Felts, and 5690Z – Sam Berzai, Ben Teed, Brooks Haines, and Harrison Odom – TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS at Purdue Poly! These two novice teams paired up to win it all, beating all challengers, closing out with a thrilling 30-28 finals win. 5690Y had the wire to wire win, going undefeated and #1 overall seed in qualifiers, picked 5690Z and the rest is history. Great job!
- Team 5690B: Artie Dillon, Greg Brown, Renae Waugh, Julia Dunn, and Meg McNamar. They won the Create Award at the Heritage Christian League and then laid down their best skills runs of the year and captured 3rd place at the Zionsville Competition.
- Team 5690W: Eli Acklin, Emilie Martin, and Sam Pettrone. They won the Build Award at the HC League and had a thrilling run to the finals, beating the defending state champ in the semifinals, “tying” the first finals match, and ultimately taking a very close loss in the finals for a runner-up finish.
