BCHS Spanish students competed in the AATSP (American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese) Concurso Académico at Southport High School in March 2019. They maintained their first place standing for Spanish Level I in the state.

BCHS Spanish students competed in the AATSP (American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese) Concurso Académico at Southport High School last Saturday. They maintained their first place standing for Spanish level one in the state. The competition has events in vocabulary, spelling, grammar and scrambled prayers. There were also several other ribbon winners from BCHS that competed.
Junior Joslyn Wims attended and said, “It gives you the opportunity to meet other people that are just as interested in the subject as you are, which makes the conversations even more entertaining.”
