Men's Volleyball
Congratulations to Michael Moore and Ricky Rivelli for being honored as Junior and Senior All Stars by the Indiana Men's Volleyball Coaches Association. As honorees, they will be participating in the Junior and Senior All Star Matches Saturday, May 30th at Hebron High School in Hebron, Indiana. As well as being named to the Senior All Star Team, Ricky Rivelli was also named Second Team All State. The Men's Volleyball program picked up it's first ever sweep last night against Covenant Christian. JV won in three games 25-22, 17-25, 15-14 on excellent serving from Ryan Liphard and Mark Cockrum. After dropping the first set 18-25, Varsity went onto sweep the next three 25-22, 25-23, 25-21. Incredible offensive display from Zach Zavakos and defensive blocks by Michael Klineman. Men's Volleyball lost a tough one on April 21 against #7 Roncalli in straight sets, 10-25, 17-25, 17-25. Excellent offensive play from Zach Zavakos, and Excellent Defensive play from Ricky Rivelli. Congratulations Men's Volleyball in their victory last night against Scecina. Excellent offensive display from Michael Klineman, and the defensive award goes to Ricky Rivelli. Come check out the men's volleyball team next week on Tuesday against Roncalli starting with JV at 6pm. |
