2009 Season Notes
Girl's Tennis
Freshman Tennis played a tough match against Brebeuf last night, showing great improvement. Unfortunately, Brebeuf was the better team that night. Player of the night goes to Olivia Meir for having a remarkable match! Beautiful tennis at #2 singles! Next, they travel to Ritter on May 12 along with the Varsity and JV. Freshman Tennis left Franklin Central High School with a tie match! Each team won 5 out of the 10 matches played! Everyone played a full set of singles to bring home a tie! Our winners for the night at Franklin Central High School were: Teddi Doyle, Lexi Seigler, Marie Keiner, Kelly Williams and Emily King! Great effort from the whole team! We travel to Covenant Christian on Friday for another match! The weather was perfect for our Freshman Ladies Tennis team to play Cathedral's Freshman Ladies Team. Bishop Chatard Freshman Ladies Tennis brought home a victory after a very close match along with 2 tie breaks! The Freshman Tennis team won 5 out of the 9 matches played! Way to play hard! Our team winners were: Caitlin VanSenus in singles, Lexi Siegler, Marie Keiner, Kelly Williams, Katie Gozdecki and Emily King in doubles. Freshman Girls Tennis won their first match of the season against Fishers. The girls that brought home our victory were Teddi Doyle, Caitlin VanSenus, Lexi Siegler, Katie Gozdecki and Kelly Williams!
