Senior Tommy Eggleston made two free throws in the final seconds, giving Class 2A No. 7 Heritage Christian a three-point cushion and a 60-57 victory Friday night over host Bishop Chatard in high school boys basketball.

The Eagles preserved the victory by blocking a potential game-tying 3-pointer as time expired.

Eggleston led the Eagles with 16 points and six rebounds. Junior Taylor Wayer had a game-high 21 points for the Trojans.
