Bishop Chatard opens with win

Taylor Wayer scored 17 points and Aaron Bluitt had 16 points in leading Bishop Chatard to a 55-51 victory Tuesday night over host Scecina in high school boys basketball. Pat Kennedy and Evan Huxhold each added 10 points for the Trojans (1-0).

Colin Smart had a game-high 21 points to go with six rebounds for the Crusaders (2-1).
